The Orange County Conservation Corps is seeking additional partnerships with private industry to augment its relationships with cities in the County of Orange as well as the County itself.

You can help support our mission!

You can do so by funding a project in part or in whole; thereby providing employment and educational opportunities to the young men and women who are most in need of our organization. Help us perform any of the various conservation and environmentally related services that the Corps offers.

These services include:

• Restoration of wetlands, fish and wildlife habitat.

• Fuel load reduction and reforestation.

• Urban tree planting and environment enhancement.

• Transportation enhancement and other infrastructure projects (Active Transportation Projects and Prop 68).

• General maintenance of park facilities.

• Disaster cleanup for such events as wildfires and floods.

• General ground repair and improvements: planting and weed control.

• V-ditch clearing: maintaining flood channels by clearing vegetation and debris.

• Habitat restoration: removing debris from streambeds and non-native plant removal.

• Park equipment and recreational facilities improvements: painting playground equipment and bench/picnic tables.

• Mitigate storm/fire damage: water erosion control, planting slopes, removal of potential fire hazard, cutting firebreaks and performing fuel reduction.

• Trail maintenance: leveling, weed clearance, rut renovation.

• Watershed rehabilitation: removal of Arundo and other non-native plants.

• PDisaster cleanup following events such as wildfires and floods.

• Transportation enhancements and infrastructure projects (Active Transportation and Prop 68)

Recycling Services include:

• E-Waste recycling at schools, businesses and events.

• Beverage container recycling at schools, businesses, and community events.

• Collection of residential waste tires at community events. OCCC will collect and recycle used tires from the residents of the city.

• Community event labor support for litter abatement.

• Installation of “No Dumping Drains to Ocean” cub markers for used oil outreach and education.
