As part of the OCCC leadership program, all Corpsmembers are required to participate in civic engagement activities. This election year, a “Register to Vote” campaign and raffle were held to encourage Corpsmembers to register and vote in the presidential election. Over 30 Corpsmembers participated!
Raffle winners Kyle Aparicio and Rhiannon Guzman share their reflections on their participation in the OCCC “Register to Vote” campaign:

“Everybody has the opportunity to vote. I felt obligated to take that opportunity.” – Kyle Aparicio, Corpsmember at the time of quote, now promoted to staff!

“Voting means change, which is important for our society to progress.” – Rhiannon Guzman, Corpsmember
